What a Florida Level 2 install actually costs
A short garage run on a healthy 200-amp panel is one number. A 70-foot outdoor run with a service upgrade is another. Here is how to read a quote without getting played.
For a typical South Florida or statewide suburban home — panel in the garage, charger on the same wall, permit included — labor and materials for the circuit often land between about $850 and $1,700. The wall unit is extra unless we supply it.
Panel upgrades, long homeruns, finished interiors, and trenchless crossings are the four things that move a bid. Anyone quoting a single price for “EV charger installation” without seeing the panel is guessing with your money.

If you are on FPL, ask about their EVolution Home program before you call us. It is a monthly Level 2 from the utility. It is the right answer for some garages. It is the wrong answer if you want a Tesla Wall Connector, a 48-amp circuit, or a driveway bore. FPL vs owning the charger.
Ballpark, not a bid
These numbers are typical Florida ranges for a Level 2 circuit plus labor and permit. The charger hardware is separate unless we supply it. A site visit still wins.
